Pamela R. Jones, M.B.A.
Pamela Jones, MBA currently serves as the Chief
Administrative Officer for Vesalius Ventures. Prior to joining
Vesalius, Pamela served as Director of Business Services for
Vanguard Ventures located in Houston, Texas She provided support to
the Founding Partner of Vanguard as well as one of Vanguard’s Senior
Managing Members. While aiding the partnership in conducting due
diligence and research on potential investments and investment
teams, she was responsible for the management of the Houston Office
including, but not limited to, Human Resources, Accounting and IT.
Pamela has also served as the Assistant Director of Business
Services for the Texas Department of Human Services and was
responsible for leasing activities for over 50 offices covering a
thirteen county area. She negotiated leases, clearing a backlog of
over 15 expiring leases for the State of Texas in the Houston area
within one year. Her responsibilities included working with the
General Services Commission in developing and implementing
standardized specifications for the Division, including modifying
space to adhere to ADA Regulations.
Pamela served the Attorney General of Texas in several capacities
from September 1983 through January 1993 in Houston and Austin,
Texas. Her responsibilities included Leasing, Human Resources,
Office Management, Agency Liaison, and Information Technology
Specialist. She successfully served two Administrations for the
Attorney General’s Child Support Enforcement Division and was
instrumental in opening over ten new Child Support Enforcement
Offices in the State of Texas within an eight-month period and over
thirty during her tenure.
Pamela holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. from
the University of Houston, Downtown Campus graduating Magna Cum
Laude.
